Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to all users. By using any EaglerNodes service you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy in full. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how EaglerNodes services may be used. It applies to all clients, users, and any third parties who access our infrastructure directly or indirectly through a client's account. This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
EaglerNodes reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation and to take appropriate action, including immediate suspension or termination of services and reporting to relevant authorities.
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 Network Abuse
- Launching, facilitating, or participating in any form of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack against any target, including other EaglerNodes customers or third-party systems.
- Port scanning, network probing, or reconnaissance activity against systems you do not own or have explicit authorisation to test.
- Spoofing IP addresses or impersonating any network device or service.
- Generating traffic volumes that unreasonably degrade the performance of shared infrastructure.
- Operating open proxies, Tor exit nodes, or anonymisation services without prior written approval from EaglerNodes.
2.2 Malicious Software and Security Threats
- Hosting, distributing, or transmitting malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, worms, or any other malicious or destructive code.
- Operating command-and-control infrastructure for botnets or any other malicious network.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities in any software, system, or network without the explicit authorisation of the owner.
- Conducting phishing attacks, credential harvesting, or social engineering campaigns.
- Hosting exploit kits, cracking tools, or tools designed primarily for malicious purposes.
2.3 Illegal Content
- Storing, transmitting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises or exploits minors in any way. This will be reported to the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) immediately.
- Hosting content that promotes, facilitates, or incites terrorism or political violence, in violation of the Terrorism Act 2000 and Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015.
- Distributing copyrighted material without authorisation of the rights holder, in violation of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
- Hosting content that constitutes harassment or targeted abuse of any individual, in violation of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
- Any activity that constitutes unauthorised access to computer systems under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.
- Facilitating money laundering, fraud, or any financial crime under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 or the Fraud Act 2006.
2.4 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or any unsolicited commercial communications.
- Operating mail servers in a manner that causes EaglerNodes IP ranges to be blacklisted.
- Harvesting email addresses or other personal data without consent.
- Running SMS spam campaigns or automated calling systems for unsolicited communications.
2.5 Resource Abuse
- Mining cryptocurrency of any kind without prior written authorisation from EaglerNodes. Unauthorised mining will result in immediate termination.
- Running automated processes that consume excessive CPU, memory, bandwidth, or storage beyond your allocated plan limits in a manner that degrades service for other clients.
- Reselling, subletting, or otherwise providing third-party access to your allocated resources without prior written approval.
- Operating click farms, ad fraud systems, or any automated service designed to generate fraudulent traffic or revenue.
2.6 Content Standards
- Hosting content that constitutes hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic, in violation of the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Order Act 1986.
- Hosting non-consensual intimate images (NCII) or any content that violates the privacy or dignity of any individual.
- Hosting content designed to facilitate or promote self-harm or suicide.
- Operating sites or services that impersonate legitimate organisations, brands, or individuals with intent to deceive.
3. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of content or activity on EaglerNodes infrastructure that you believe violates this AUP, please report it immediately:

We investigate all abuse reports and aim to respond within 24 hours. Reports involving CSAM or terrorism will be escalated to the relevant authorities immediately.
4. Enforcement
EaglerNodes reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any of the following actions in response to a violation:
- Issue a formal warning to the account holder.
- Temporarily suspend the offending service or account.
- Permanently terminate the account without refund.
- Remove or disable specific content or services.
- Report the violation to law enforcement or relevant third parties including the NCA, IWF, or Ofcom as appropriate.
- Pursue civil or criminal legal remedies where applicable.
5. Client Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that any third parties who access our services through your account also comply with this AUP. Violations by your users are treated as violations by you.
6. Changes to This Policy
EaglerNodes reserves the right to update this AUP at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
